Auspicious Purple Luster

       The inspiration of this series comes from the lotus pond in the morning and evening. Whether it is dawn or dusk, no matter in the settings of morning glow or sunset clouds, the lotus pond is so attractive. Sky light and lake color reflect each other. The lotus leaves have an exuberant appearance and the lotus flowers are with bright and clear in appearance. They grow luxuriantly and depend on each other. They sway under the flickering light and display resplendent in the beautiful sky, with the expression of light and shade as well as interlaced mapping. They are gorgeous and colorful and pleasing to the eyes, making people dizzy.

      In this series, I try to exaggerate the expressive power of color by using the laws of color while not sticking to them, and my personal understanding of the rule of color form is integrated more into it. The expression of individuality and symbolization is added to integrate and simplify the complex color changes, making the painting more appealing. The expressive power of color is ensured to be able to transcend the constraints of predecessors and the objective world, in order to achieve a certain degree of free expression.

      Purple is beautiful, mysterious and inspiring. Purple tone has a noble royal style, and also contains a propitious omen and auspicious association. The use of purple as the color tone can be said to break the rules and is used by me. I hope to create a stronger, more concentrated and more tense color effect, better reflecting the content of creation to convey my thoughts of joy and interest, bringing good wishes to the audience.

      The color of watercolor painting is bright, strong, gentle and implicit. The repetition of color is breathy, with a poetic crisp rhythm and charming rhythm, which can strongly express the subjective feelings of the painter. And the poetic representation of watercolor texture, which is produced by the improvisation, contingency, transparency and flow, is full of implicit, illusory and natural artistic beauty. It is also very suitable for the expression of the artist's artistic personality. In this series, the technique of multi-layer color overlapping and the changeable artistic language of watercolor are adopted. It can excavate the value of color expression from the form of color itself and give the expression of art form a relatively independent ornamental value. It blends the strong contrast of color into the harmonious relationship to give people a colorful feeling, while the whole tone is coherent, unified and harmonious. It's just like a symphony with infinite changes, as well as rich levels and endless aftertaste.
