汕头大学艺术学院原院长、汕头中国画院副院长陈延在开幕式上致辞。

Chen Yan，former dean of Art Institute of Shantou University, deputy dean of Shantou Chinese Painting Academy delivered speech at the opening ceremony.

中国美协原理事、广东省美协原副主席、汕头中国画院院长陈政明在开幕式上致辞。

Chen Zheng Ming, former director of China Artists Association, former vice chairman of Guangdong Provincial Artists Association, dean of Shantou Chinese Painting Academy delivered speech at the opening ceremony.

中国文联全委会委员、中国美协理事、香港美协主席萧晖荣在开幕式上致辞。

Professor Siu Fai Wing, national member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, director of China Artists Association, chairman of Hong Kong Artists Association delivered speech at the opening ceremony.

Professor Siu presided the opening ceremony of striking the gong together with Huang Zengfa, former party committee secretary of Shantou University and vice president of Guangdong Provincial History Society and Ma Yili, former standing committee of the Municipal Committee and former Minister of the United Front Work Department.

Siu Fun Kee did the interviews with CCTV's painting and calligraphy channel, Guangdong TV station, and Shantou TV station and so on.
